One man's unique
perception | Zeno's paradox
Suppose a student wants to reach a door a meter away. Before they arrive there, they must first reach the halfway point. However, in order to reach the halfway point, they must first arrive halfway to the halfway point – that is, at the quarter-way point, and so on, ad infinitum. In other words, to reach their destination, they must travel 1/2 m, then 1/4 m, 1/8 m, 1/16 m, and so on. Zeno argued that because the sequence goes on forever, the student has to travel an infinite number of finite distances, which would take an infinite amount of time. As a result, they can never get anywhere.
Now suppose a student wishes to learn everything she can about a subject. Zeno's paradox can be applied in the same way - a student can never stop learning. There will always be pathways to go down, halfway steps to travel. Education is a neverending journey where often it is the route that matters, not the final destination.

There are always different ways of looking at the world. In fact, even fundamental concepts can be challenged, revolutionized, and personalized. And so can the way that such concepts are taught.
At Canopy Tutoring, we understand this – that every child has a different learning style, level, and interests. We do not have a one-size-fits-all template. Instead, we accommodate the child to make learning as easy and as comfortable as possible.
With this environment, your child will gain more than just knowledge. They will gain confidence, passion, and a solid foundation they will be able to use to form their own unique ideas so that one day, your child can pass their individual perception to their children. And so on.
At Canopy Tutoring, we are not raising textbooks, we are paving a future of thinkers and leaders.
