Growing confident readers
Children often need extra support when learning how to read. Our mission is to help all students become fluent and confident readers - laying the foundation for academic success. We partner with the Louisiana Department of Education to offer literacy tutoring through the REAL Tutoring Program and the Steve Carter Tutoring Program.
The Science of Reading
Our phonics-based tutoring curriculum has been developed using the Science of Reading. It is aligned to Louisiana’s Tier 1 curricula and builds on what students learn in the classroom. All of our tutors complete training on the Science of Reading and the curriculum.
